Lion's Mane Mushroom and 'NGF'

What makes Lion's Mane so special? The alkaloids present in Lion's mane (ericenones and erinacines) ensure that the human body stimulates the production of the body's own substance NGF.

NGF is the abbreviation of: 'nerve growth factor'. NGF is necessary for the growth of certain neurons in the brain. NGF also plays a role in myelination. Myelination is a process that provides signal transmission through the nerves.

Use Lion's Mane Mushroom Extract

Use a maximum of 3 times a day 10 drops, or twice a day half a pipette of Lion's Mane mushroom extract.

Preferably take under the tongue and swallow after about 30 seconds. Can also be mixed with a juice or processed in a super healthy smoothie.

Stick to this amount. Spread the intake over the day for the best effect. Please do not take with carbonated drinks and/or medicines.

The company Foodspores

Foodspores was founded by the Dutchman Mart Stoffele. It is a Dutch company that was born out of a huge passion for mushrooms. 

Mart's fascination for mushrooms started from his own experience, he was stuck in life, was not feeling well and could not concentrate.

Despite several visits to a doctor, there was no improvement. He eventually discovered a mushroom extract, a tincture that did work. He soon felt better. Was also able to concentrate better and then went on to study naturopathy.
