In these instructions for use for CBD oil we discuss the following points:
* Method of intake
* Percentage
* Dosage
* Save
* Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Method of intake
There are different ways in which you can take CBD oil. Below we discuss a number of suitable methods:
-Directly
This is without a doubt the most common method. You can drop the drops of CBD oil directly under the tongue or you can count the CBD drops on a spoon and take the CBD oil this way.
-Mix with liquid
With this method you drip the correct amount of CBD oil into a glass or cup with a non-alcoholic cold drink (e.g. a fruit juice). It is important to stir well because oil does not mix easily with water. Then drink the glass or cup completely, so that you are sure that you get all the CBD oil. This method of taking is especially interesting for those who do not like the taste of CBD oil.
-CBD oil in a capsule
Take an empty capsule. Count the correct amount of drops in one half of the capsule. Close the capsule and swallow it. We can also imagine that you do not have the time or desire to fiddle with capsules yourself. Then we have good news for you: we sell in our webshop ready-to-use capsules with CBD oil.
-Cannabis ointment
Finally, there are also ointments that contain CBD oil. These ointments are of course not intended for oral use, but to apply to the skin.
What percentage of CBD oil?
How do I know which percentage is suitable for me when I use CBD oil for the first time?
Every person reacts differently to CBD oil. That is why we cannot recommend a standard CBD percentage.
Our advice is: 2% -2,5% for children or pets / 2,5% -25% for adults.
Recommended dosage of CBD oil
Every person is different and therefore the right amount of CBD oil can differ per person.
If you use CBD oil on your own initiative, the following instructions can help you determine the dose:
From Cannabisolie.nl we recommend starting with 6 drops per day.
It is best to spread the intake a little over the day: 2 drops with breakfast, 2 drops with lunch and 2 drops before going to bed. If this is not convenient in terms of time, you can also choose to take 3 drops in the morning and 3 drops in the evening.
You can slowly increase the dosage if desired. You do this by increasing the daily amount by a few drops every week.
We do not take more than 40 mg CBD per day. Example: see the 10% CBD oil in the table.
As you can see in the table, this CBD oil contains 4 mg CBD per drop. If you take 2 x 5 drops per day = 10 drops, then the total number of mg CBD you take per day is: 10 x 4 mg = 40 milligrams (mg).
The table below shows how many milligrams of CBD 1 drop of CBD oil contains.
CBD percentage CBD oil | Number of mg of CBD per drop |
2,1% | 0,8 mg |
2,5% | 1,0 mg |
2,75% | 1,1 mg |
4% | 1,6 mg |
5% | 2 mg |
7,5% | 3 mg |
10% | 4 mg |
15% | 6 mg |
18% | 7,2 mg |
25% | 10 mg |
Save
It is best to store the CBD oil in a cool, dark place. At the same time, it is wise to use CBD oil at room temperature. If the CBD oil is cold, it is difficult to drip. You may then consume less CBD oil than you would like.
One way to solve this dilemma is to remove CBD oil from its storage area half an hour before you want to take the CBD oil. This way the CBD oil has time to reach temperature. You can also speed up the warm-up by holding the bottle of CBD oil in a warm fist for a few minutes.
Note: Do not use other methods to heat the CBD oil. You do not want the oil to rise above a certain temperature, because that can be at the expense of the CBD oil.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
We do not recommend using CBD oil during pregnancy or if you are breastfeeding. It is unknown what the impact of CBD is on the development of a fetus or infant.
Instructions for use for THC oil
The above points (except the dosage) also apply to THC oil. You should be more careful with the dosage with THC oil. For THC oil we recommend starting with 1 drop at a time. After a few days you can increase the dosage to two drops, and so on.
